A quick note....

I'm getting ready to go our for my long run this morning. But I know many of you have been checking in to see pictures from the Balloon Release yesterday. I did upload this small video and will give you a chance to watch it until I post the pictures.

I'm so glad that you had a beautiful day to honor a beautiful child. I was thinking while watching your video clip that Mason and Cody would have gotten along so well - they seem so much alike, but then I thought of how much more fun they will have in Heaven. I responded to your post on my blog through the email on your website last week.
Take care,
MaryBeth

Beyond words Mickey, beyond words. My heart is all warm inside. A very beautiful tribute to a wonderful young pirate, who just happens to be my hero. I'll also be adding a link to Cody's Crew Foundation on my blog site.

I too am waiting for the day when we can run a race together

God Bless,

Gj

Looks like everyone had a good time celebrating Cody's life. I wish I could have been there. I'm sure he is smiling at all those balloons. Hope you are all getting along with things and doing a little better. I love the logo and can't wait to see what is next. Hope your run was a good one today. Love, BigSis

Mickey and Diane,

My schedule has kept me away from the blog for a couple of weeks but Cody is always in my minds' eye ~ dancing on the beach.

The video left me speechless with pride and I know Cody is filled with love and joy.

I am spreading the word about neuroblastoma because it is always in my thoughts and I will continue to do so until there is a cure.

My love to all,
Your friend Kandi

Even never meeting Cody... even being there, experiencing the beauty, the power, the sadness... even though it was a few weekends ago-watching it over again, still gets to me, still makes my heart ache for _your_ loss.

It was (and is) bitter-sweet.

...and yet, I can't begin to feel how you all do.

I'm sorry.

I have been meaning to let you know that my family and I were honored to attend and help with Cody's special memorial day at school.

And my kids' comments about the balloon release:

Nat said "I didn't want to let go of my balloon" (but she was glad she did)

Ant said "I kept waiting for the balloons to form Cody's name in the sky, or a pirate hat or something like fireworks do." (they were pretty anyway)

Johnson Family,

It's been a while since I checked the website. I was happy to see that you all have been spending time together and that you have been celebrating Cody's life in so many ways. I hope you continue to keep us posted on your progess and that the support you receive from us will help in the healing process.

God Bless,
