We just got home and Cody did a great job today. Not ten minutes after we arrived Dr. Shad called to let us know the results. She said the bone scan is designed to tell you if there has been any injury to the bone whether it be from trauma, infection, or the beast. They expected that area to light up and it did. She said the top of the fibula appears to have been eaten away. The good news is that no other bones lit up so we hope that if it has to be the beast than it is confined to that area. We are still praying for the slim chance that it is infection and that the xray has fooled everyone. The MIBG is scheduled for next Wednesday. That test is specific to neuroblastoma and will light up wherever it is detected.
For now this is it. Not total good news and not total bad news. Please keep praying for our boy...
Thanks for stopping by...
We love you all....

Mickey, thanks for the update. Prayers will continue as always!
Mickey thanks for updating as I've been thinking of Cody all day. I am encouraged and I hope that you are as well, I hope and pray that if it is the beast that at least it is confined to this are only. I hope you and the family have a Happy New Year and that 2009 brings health and happiness to Cody and your family.

I'm clinging to the 'good news' part of this post! Hang in there buddy and know that you have a whole bunch of us pulling for you guys!

Mickey, we are all praying that the results will turn out favorable for Cody. God Speed and Strength.
God Bless,
Bruce
Mickey and Diane,
The prayer warriors are all on duty and the prayer chains are strong. Heaven is being bombarded on Cody's behalf and the beast is not the winner here. May you be able to feel the Peace of God in this time and the strength that is at your disposal. Sometimes words are not enough to show you how much support is with your family. Contine to hold on and hang tough!
With all my love and prayers,
BigSis
