It's 6:30 pm, Diane just called and told me that her car just broke down on the VA side of the Key Bridge. So now she and Cody are waiting for the tow truck to come and get them. Unreal...
As far as and update on Cody. They just completed a 360 degree scan of his abdominal area. I'm happy to report that nothing showed up there. Now for the legs... I told you that the spot in question did show positive. There were two more tiny spots that came up on his legs. The doctor believes that it is actually urine spots that were on Cody's pants. The nuclear dye leaves his body through his urine so when Cody emptied his bladder before the scans they think that some may have got on his pants. I will take him in tomorrow for a rescan. We hope this will not show those spots. I will get into the future treatment when I do tomorrow's post.

- I grew up, ah, got older in Ford City Pa. A small town 45 minutes up the Allegheny River from Pittsburgh. Growing up a true 70's child I really thought that the Steelers were suppose to win the Super Bowl every year. :D Being the free spirit that I am I couldn't wait to get out on my own, so I joined the Navy. I flew out to the Philippines and met my boat the USS John Paul Jones DDG32. From there we sailed back to the states and spent most of the rest of my tour between San Diego and Long Beach. Since getting out I married twice, had 6 children and lived in Groton CT, Pensacola FL, Germantown MD and now in Northern VA. I've been married to my wife Diane for 10 years now and have three energetic and loving children. My life reads like a fiction novel in many ways. Many ups and downs but I feel blessed to have this life. To some it may seem boring but it's all mine.. :D

Oh man-what a roller coaster. I'll be saying repeated prayers for Cody today that the news this time is good.
Mickey, I don't have any words to express how devastating I know this is. So instead I will hope for the future. I hope that scan only find one spot. I hope that the treatment is quick and as painless as possible for Cody. I hope in the near future you can start waiting for NED again.
