Continues to amaze..

Our little man just keeps on keepin on. He is moving around like nobodies business. He got up at 7:30 and is just now going to sleep at 10:05. He's been up and walking, playing Monopoly with his girls, playing ball with us and he went over to the restaurant with Diane and I. Although he didn't eat much he road over in the wagon and was great company. The drugs he has been on are having a big affect on him. He's having more ups and downs than a Merry-Go-Round.

His numbers continue to head in the right direction. He needs to eat and drink a little more but that is coming. He also had a culture growing from one of his lines this morning. That means antibiotics. Despite that there is a good chance that we may get to go home this weekend. We are cautiously optimistic. Cross you fingers!!!!

I have said it before and I say it till my last day in this world, "Cody is my hero and the toughest human being I know."

Thanks to all of you for the prayers and thoughts...

Cody is miraculous! He is just pure amazing and an inspiration. I am so happy you all had a good day, that Cody got out of the room and was able to play! What wonderful news that his numbers are headed in the right direction. May all of the prayers and positive energy that surrounds your family daily, continue to provide you with support, comfort, love, courage, hope and faith.

that he has been so busy all day.I
hope each day gets better & better.
He is such an amazing Pirate!!!!!
I was so afraid those stitches would cause him a lot of discomfort
today. I'll be looking for another
good report tomorrow. We'll all keep praying for all of you.

I found your site through Jenny (Hodgkins Lymphoma forum member)in the posts she told us about her 214miles of running last week. My daughter (Katie 24 now) had Stage
4S Neuroblastoma (dumbell tumor thoracic and lumbar) when she was
8 1/2 mos old. She has been a healthy girl ever since. I follow a diary written by a dad in Texas who is VERY involved in the Neuroblastoma world and with "Lunch for Life"'s his website: Mark is a wealth of info and very involved in Neuroblastoma research.

I hope that Cody continues to do well and will beat the beast.

I left your blog open on the computer last night and my husband was reading all your posts this morning. He was very touched by Cody's story and I'll bet you have added one more person's prayers to Cody's cause.

Some days, I am almost scared to open the blog to find out how Cody is doing. But I am continually amazed at Cody's strength to heal. He is one outstanding young man!
