Pretty good weekend...

We spent the weekend hanging close to home. Saturday was a very nice day so I decided to install a new back door on the house. It took Saturday and Sunday to totally finish it but I'm glad I did it.

This is going to be a very busy week. Procedures on Tuesday and Wednesday and then flight up to New York on Thursday for bone marrow on Friday.

I'd like to give a shout out to Grandpa John who is a member of Cody's Crew. John has taken on the battle with neuroblastoma in his own way. John is a runner and has decided to raise money and dedicate his running to finding a cure to neuroblastoma. What makes this even more special is that John is doing this out of the kindness of his heart. He has no family member with the disease but has been moved by Cody and the BOP. On behalf of all the parents and children who are battling this evil beast, "Thank you!" Here is John's new blog. Stop in and say "hello."

Howdy Deck and Hi ya Cody,

Thank you for such kind words Deck. Truth be told, at times I feel unworthy of such kindness for I receive so much. I am blest. I am really happy that I can do what I can, I wish it were more...My prayer is that we ultimately find a cure for this horrible disease.

Cody, you, your family and all of the Band of Parents and their children and families are my joy and bless me daily. Missus Gj and I keep you all in our prayers; special prayers are going out for Cody and family during this week of testing and procedures.

It's Tuesday here in DC and very overcast - that's because the sun is spending all its energy shinning on Cody for a bright week with all the tests and trip to NY.

Hugs to Cody, Pat (ACCA-NCC)

Can't you make some money off of
the door that you just got rid of?
I'll never forget that door,since

What in the world did you replace
it with????? I know you 3 are going
to have a busy week and pray it all
turns out to be nothing but GREAT!
I'll be checking in as often as I can.Give the BIG GUY a kiss for me

Hi Mickey and Diane,
We made a donation to BOP in Cody's name today. I did it online, so I'm not sure if you will get notified for your records/matching program.
We think of you guys everyday and continue to be amazed and humbled at your strength and ability to hold it all together. I will try to do what I can to spread the word to gather more prayers and support for Cody and the effort to find better treatments for neuroblastoma. Stay strong!
Love, Julie, Mike, Gabby, Katherine and Kevin
