Good weekend and Big day ahead...

You all know that tomorrow is a huge day. I'm not sure when I will post. I'll try to get to a PC at the hospital sometime in the afternoon. Please pray for our boy...

We had a very nice weekend. Saturday evening we took the kids out to Outback for dinner. They really like going out to eat and they are actually getting better when we go out.

The bracelets are in.... I received them this morning. If you are interested in purchasing some please email me with the total and sizes you would like. They are $2 and all profits will go to Band of Parents. It may be a few days before I get back to you with the total cost of shipping. Here is my email... mickdee66@comcast.net

Hi Mickey and Diane.
This is Rachael, mom to Noah, 8 year old with left leg amputation due to osteosarcoma. Don't know if you remember us, but we just saw you guys at G'town this past Thursday. I'm the one who keeps checking on you from Frederick, MD! Just wanted to wish you a productive and successful surgery for tomorrow! We should expect nothing less! I know its hard not to look at the past of other children, but as you know, Cody is not 'other children'. EVERY child is different. It took me a long time to see that with Noah's situation. If I had looked at statistics or what happened to other kids, he probably wouldn't be here today. I am praying hard for all of you. Cody is so lucky to have you both by his side. We will be in Thursday night to bring dinner to the floor. I will check on you then. All by best....Rachael

Mickey and Diane,
Cody and your entire family will be surrounded in prayer tomorrow as you face your big day. Know that there are many people across the country praying for Cody. Cody is Cody. He is unlike any other child- he is just amazing. He is a miracle and he is a blessing. May all of the prayers, love and positive energy that surround you provide you with a sense of support and comfort, especially tomorrow as you wait to hear news and updates from the surgeons.
Sending hugs, love and prayers your way,
Lori
P.S. Count me in as the Chicago Chapter or Cody's Crew! (hugs and kisses to my boyfriend)
