And boy did they... First off let me apologize to my Philly friends for gloating. It's been a long time coming for the Penguins return to the Stanley Cup. Here is a little picture I found on the web, courtesy of ThePensblog.
i'm so happy for you......except, there will be no cup in Philly.
I'm a detroiter & therefore, once we decide to take Dallas, we'll heve to kick your Penguin's ass.
This is hockey town & this is where the cup belongs.......deep in your heart, you know that too.
McCarty, Draper, Ozzy, Cheli, Datsyuk, Franzen, Holmstrom, Hasek, Kronwall, Maltby, Zetterburg & the list goes on & on & on..........you'll jsut have to wait a little bit longer for that cup. sorry about that! ;O)
I knew that would be something you would enjoy!!! I remember when the Penguins won the other time. I was living in MD with you & thats also when you got me to liking hockey... This just has to be their YEAR!!! I just got up & need my COFFEE!!! LATER, MOM
Congrats on the Peguins! We are praying that Cody can start his treatments this week and that they go well. Jonathan and I are leaving tonight and we'll check in when we can.
Thinking of Cody. Saw a lot of the Pitt-Philly games. Being a Ranger fan, I guess I should be happy the Penguins won. But, man, those two teams really don't like each other! : -o Now it's time to watch the Wings send Dallas golfing.
I grew up, ah, got older in Ford City Pa. A small town 45 minutes up the Allegheny River from Pittsburgh. Growing up a true 70's child I really thought that the Steelers were suppose to win the Super Bowl every year. :D Being the free spirit that I am I couldn't wait to get out on my own, so I joined the Navy. I flew out to the Philippines and met my boat the USS John Paul Jones DDG32. From there we sailed back to the states and spent most of the rest of my tour between San Diego and Long Beach. Since getting out I married twice, had 6 children and lived in Groton CT, Pensacola FL, Germantown MD and now in Northern VA. I've been married to my wife Diane for 10 years now and have three energetic and loving children. My life reads like a fiction novel in many ways. Many ups and downs but I feel blessed to have this life. To some it may seem boring but it's all mine.. :D

Just got back from a long weekend in Maine, I forgot how beautiful it is there on the coast!
I need to catch up with your last few posts on how things are going for the DeckApe family. Nice pix from your visit with Mr. and Mrs. BigMan!
And congrats on your Penguins!

Catching up after the weekend. Congrats on your Penguin's win....I miss hockey games.
Good luck with your pirate this week- hopefully there'll be no meltdowns or bad medication side effects.
